Our Team
The People Behind the Bits
TrivBits is made by a small team of writers and editors who are, frankly, insufferable at pub quizzes. We write the questions, we check the answers, and we argue about which facts are interesting enough to make the cut.
We’re deliberately small. It means every question that goes live has been read by someone who cares whether it’s right.
What We Make
Fast quizzes across general knowledge, sports, history and quick facts — the kind you can play on a coffee break without committing your afternoon. Alongside those we publish longer reads for when you want to fall down a rabbit hole instead.
How a Question Gets Written
Someone spots something interesting. We check whether it’s actually true, which is where a surprising number of “fun facts” fall over. We write it as a question, make sure the wrong answers are plausible rather than filler, and an editor reads the whole thing before it publishes.
The test we apply: would you want to tell someone this? If not, it doesn’t run.
Keeping It Accurate
Trivia lives or dies on being right. A question with a wrong answer isn’t a small problem — it’s the whole product failing. So we check claims against reliable sources before publishing, and we take it seriously when a player tells us we’ve slipped.
Our Editorial Policy explains how we source questions and how we handle corrections.
