Because we are deliberately small, every question that goes live has been read by a real person who cares whether it’s actually right. We check claims against reliable sources, write plausible distractors (no obvious filler answers), and apply a simple test before publishing: would you want to tell someone this? If not, it doesn’t run.

TrivBits is made by a small team of writers and editors who are, frankly, insufferable at pub quizzes. We write the questions, we check the answers, and we argue about which facts are interesting enough to make the cut.
We’re deliberately small. It means every question that goes live has been read by someone who cares whether it’s right, not just an algorithm pushing content.

How a Question Gets Written

• The Spark: Someone spots an interesting fact.

• The Draft: We write it as a question and make sure the wrong answers are plausible distractors, not just obvious filler.
• The Editor: An editor reads the whole thing before it publishes.
